During the last week I had the opportunity to test the Proffesional new version of SUSE 9.1. As is usually the first impression is often slippers footwear from leather atorvastatin 10mg med dubbing Poland the most important, I was afraid to open the box. Collected a little courage I opened it. I could not go with admiration. SUSE AG postarala really to give SUSE. Yes it should appear each boxed version of GNU / Linux. In the middle of a consumer who bought the package is 2 books dealing with Linux: Administration krakow tours hafta hafta hamilelik Replica watches Guide "and" User Guide ", a package of CDs and the 2 disc DVD bilateral (DVD1 and DVD2 installation source), plus a package of regular CD needed for installation - total 7 discs. From what I've heard, this is a matter of opinion. Free? My time is not free, and the time it requires to get Linux working harmoniously with my hardware is far greater than the cost of windows.

I just want to know what's the big deal with Linux? I mean, if you're just Joe Schmo, with a PC it doesn't seem to make sense to me to choose anything other than Windows. Even, if you've got time to sort through the crappy docs, and scour the internet for clues as to how to get a program to work; what's the big deal? What serious benefits does Linux offer? I want concrete actual benefits here, not the nerdy, It's Linux dood, down with Microsoft. I like having one universal OS. It sure makes it a hell of alot easier to share files, and such. I remember in the old days when, IBM PC's, were struggling to gain a foothold in the competing market. The reason they won, was compatibility. It really was pathetic, you had Apples, IBMs (they were referred to as IBM's, but they were just clones running DOS), Commodores, and Amigas (sad to see them go). What I'm saying is, I don't really like the idea of Linux. It's no better for all practical purposes than Windows. To me, having a linux box is like preferring a BBS to the internet.
