ÝÝÝ Just got a new job and of course they are running a squid proxy.Ý I wasn't told that they had any linux on the network.Ý well, it's the only machine.Ý My question, I am receiving error messages - fatal:Ý file_write:bad FD and also fatal:Ý storeunlock_object_: bad swap_status. Ý I found a swap file that was corrupt and tried to recover, it said that it recovered but I still got the same error.Ý So I removed the swap file like the help recommended.Ý But now I get an error when trying to start squid squid error: could not send signal 1 to process 257: (3) no such process Ý Like I said I don't know linux andÝI had never heard of squid until a couple of weeks ago when I got this job.Ý I did get squid running again but believe that I really didn't fix the problem.Ý I have checked all the sites and gotten some great information but cannot seem to find out what these errors mean.
