During the last week I had the opportunity to test the Proffesional new version of SUSE 9.1. As is usually the first impression is often bebek geliÅŸimi Venice Guide einkaufswagen here the most important, I was afraid to open the box. Collected a little courage I opened it. I could not go with admiration. SUSE AG postarala really to give SUSE. Yes it should appear each boxed version of GNU / Linux. In the middle of a consumer who bought the package is 2 books dealing with Linux: Administration www.auto-moto-blog.co.uk Car supermarket Asbestos Poland Guide "and" User Guide ", a package of CDs and the 2 disc DVD bilateral (DVD1 and DVD2 installation source), plus a package of regular CD needed for installation - total 7 discs. In addition, SUSE AG, the plate with a full version of the database SQL Anywhere ® Studio for Linux v9.0 and SUSE extra sticker with the logo - with the chameleon. That was a first impression.

Hello alsofly, You are correct the current DAQmx driver for Linux does not officially support Mandriva 2007 or Suse10. I have included a _link_ to a a Knowledge_base_ that might offer more information to make you more successful with using these newer versions of distro of linux.<a href= http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/35D2B5E483A001A18625716B005BE464 target= _blank What Linux distributions do National Instruments' drivers and software support?</a While it is not officially supported, Mandrake has not made major kernel changes between 2006 and 2007, in theory it should continue to work. In the Knowledge_base_ the driver is listed as not certified to work with this distribution, but may work with an appropriate version of NI-KAL installed or other workarounds. Extensive user testing is recommended before deploying a system using this configuration.I also found a french <a href= http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=250&message.id=288... target= _blank discussion forum</a on a similar product, and the last post states that he was able to use the DAQmx driver on his Mandriva 2007 system. For more information on the supported versions of Linux, check our website for the latest drivers and Linux support information.Regards,  Sandra T.Applications Engineer | National Instruments

CentOS 3.8 is an open source binary-compatible clone of RHEL3 that works with NI-DAQmx 8.0... it's not as flashy as Mandriva of course.   <a href= http://www.centos.org/ target= _blank http://www.centos.org/</a <a href= http://centos.org/ target= _blank </a   Not surprising that it works, as it is 100% binary compatible with RHEL3.   ++Troy
