I could not go with admiration. SUSE AG postarala really to give SUSE. Yes it should appear each boxed version of GNU / Linux. I'm using Kylix desktop developer, and would like to move a couple of old d_base_ projects over without changing the files. Is it possible to get ODBC for d_base_ in Linux. I've looked but couldnt seem to find a driver. Im happy working with the other drivers in Kylix, just interested. dids

I've looked but couldnt seem to find a driver. Im happy working with the other drivers in Kylix, just interested. I would confirm what Stephen has suggested. I count 33 newsgroups for borland.public.kylix, and 5 of those are borland.public.kylix.data_base_.. Here's some _link_s: 1. http://www.ceres.myweb.nl 2. http://www.easysoft.com/products/da_components/kylix/pricing.phtml I have seen ODBC Express mentioned in Dephi newsgroups, therefore shouldn't it be in Kylix ? Here's a recent post that might help: From: Br. Nicholas < This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it Newsgroups: borland.public.kylix.opensource Subject: Re: Kylix OE access to data_base_ Date: Sun, 5 Aug 2001 21:22:52 -0600 You may wish to watch this newsgroup: borland.public.kylix.thirdpartytools Here are two messages from that newsgroup.  They seem to be the most promising so far, though I have not had a chance to try either of them. I hope this helps.  If you do try either or both of these, I would appreciate it if you could please post your findings.  Also, if you find a better alternative, please let us all know.
