Well, I've downloaded disk image, burned and boot it. The first thing that I quit on the eyes, was the aesthetic and intuitive graphical installer, which communicates with us in the native language. Interesting solution was used in selecting the place where we want to install Linux, namely, indicating the free area of the disk, the size of each partition will be selected automatically. I think this is a useful feature, especially for beginners who do not know how reasonable distribution of free space. In addition, already at this stage we can select the mounting points of the other disks / partitions (for example, if you have two operating systems on one computer). |

First impression was the most positive. The possibility to choose the language, the installation in graphical mode (in which we of course use the system on the disc) and in text mode, the ability to check the installation CD for errors. A lot of possibilities as to the very start, only if the expected "normal" users? Approach presents interesting issues in the Ubuntu packages are installed. Notably there is no possibility of free choice! Although this way, new users are now consistent and ready to work the system, with almost all the necessary tools, but a little more advanced users may feel deprived of control over the system and it is in such an early stage of its life! |

Not so long time ago an American network of sales Wal-Mart has launched its bid to their secret computers (price 200USD) with an installed Linux. Probably because of the price of the first batch of computers spread in record pace two weeks. All but interesting screenshots of what has been installed on them.
